The MTTA strive to promote and develop the sport in all areas of Manitoba through making available resource materials dealing with athlete, coach and officials development and by doing exhibition, demonstration and coaching clinics at schools, community clubs, churches, trade shows and shopping malls etc. In recent years we have also increased our efforts into ensuring that equipment is available for new clubs or schools who wish to deliver their own programming on either a short term or long-term ongoing basis. Our engagement in these activities is vital because table tennis receives little coverage through the main media outlets of television, radio and newspapers. As such, table tennis programs do not spring up across the province as they do for larger sports, which receive massive amounts of coverage. The hope is that by exposing schools/communities to table tennis that either or both of the kids and adult leaders push for the development of table tennis activities in their area/school
