This is last local tournament prior to the 2007 WESTERN CANADA OPEN CHAMPIONSHIPS to be held at the Duckworth Centre, University of Winnipeg on May 26-27. However, Canada Winter Games Bronze Medaillist Terry "Tian" Zhang travels to Montreal Thursday April 5-15 to represent Canada at the North American Championships followed by a World Junior Circuit event.
